Two thousand years ago, a meteorite exploded in the sky, scattering its many fragments all over the planet, and finally crashing on the planet.

A Thousand years later, an ancient tribe known as the Etherians, shamans innately connected spiritually to the planet, discover the many shards or in gem like forms, which contains an energy source, and with it is able to communicate to the planet's many guardian spirit entities called the Degens, derived from the shards Puli Gems.

By harnessing the Degens, This has led to countless advancements and prosperity for the tribe, leading to the creation of the ancient city of Etheria, the symbol of Etherian advancement.

The shards that have been mined and collected have been poished and fissured to its purest state, the Degems, and are handled by the experts and crafters called Degenites.

One day, a corrupted Degenite, brought ruin to Etheria, collapsing its city, destroying it, and it has vanished from the face of Enjin. No one really knows why and how this all happened.
